Role Overview
We are seeking a Confirmed Cybersecurity Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience to design, implement, secure, and operate cybersecurity solutions in complex, large-scale, and regulated environments.
The role combines hands-on technical engineering, security operations, and collaboration with architecture, SOC, and governance teams.
The Cybersecurity Engineer will contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of security controls, ensuring systems are secure, resilient, compliant, and operationally effective..
Type of responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain technical cybersecurity controls across infrastructure, systems, networks, and platforms
- Deploy and harden security solutions such as Network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN), Endpoint and server security, Identity and Access Management (IAM, MFA, RBAC), Logging, monitoring, and detection tooling (SIEM / SOAR)
- Apply secure-by-design and defense-in-depth principles
- Perform system hardening and security configuration reviews
- Support security monitoring, incident response, and investigations in collaboration with SOC and CERT teams
- Participate in incident handling, root cause analysis, and remediation actions
- Contribute to vulnerability management activities: Scanning, analysis, prioritisation, and remediation tracking
- Participate in security assessments, audits, and compliance reviews
- Design, implement, and operate mobile security controls for corporate and managed devices
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory
- European Union nationality (EU-27)
- Fluent English (working language)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Cybersecurity
- At least one recognised cybersecurity certification, such as: CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC certifications (GSEC, GCIH, GCED, etc.), Vendor or platform certifications
- Strong hands-on experience in security engineering or security operations
- Ability to work in a multicultural, international environment
- Eligible for EU security clearance
- Master’s degree in IT or Cybersecurity
