Job Description

Location: Liège

As a Configuration Management Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing product lifecycle data and supporting manufacturing processes for advanced guided and non-guided rocket systems. You'll work at the intersection of engineering and manufacturing, ensuring seamless transition from design to production.

 

You will play a key role in:

 

  • Managing and maintaining Engineering Bill of Materials (eBOM) and Manufacturing Bill of Materials (mBOM) using PLM Windchill
  • Supporting configuration management for guided and non-guided rocket systems
  • Implementing and optimizing lean manufacturing processes
  • Facilitating communication between supply chain, engineering, and production teams
  • Standardizing development processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Activating and maintaining mBOM data in ERP systems
  • Providing administrative engineering support including document management and validation matrices
  • Monitoring and reporting on KPIs for Windchill and Jira systems

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field
  • 3-5 years of experience in configuration management, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing
  • Proficiency with PLM systems, particularly Windchill, and familiarity with CREO
  • Experience with software development tools such as Polarion, Jira, Jenkins, and Bitbucket
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization
  • Strong understanding of eBOM to mBOM transformation and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across engineering and production teams
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process orientation
