Job Description
In this role, you will contribute to innovative projects focused on reducing the mass of structures through the use of composite materials. You will join a young and dynamic team working on fast-growing projects that require autonomy and responsiveness.
You will play a key role in:
- Performing controls and inspections of composite materials, including mastery of non-destructive testing (NDT) and damage analysis (porosity, folds, delamination)
- Mechanical characterization of composites according to their manufacturing process, including conducting and interpreting tests
- Providing technical expertise on laminates and composite stacking sequences
- Mastering manufacturing processes, particularly the AFP (Automated Fiber Placement) method and thermoset resin processes
- Technical support on quality and reliability aspects of composites
- Contributing to process optimization for structural weight reduction in strategic projects
Your profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of composite materials, ideally in the aeronautical sector
- In-depth technical expertise in composite control and damage assessment
- Solid knowledge of laminates, stacking sequences and delamination phenomena
- Proficiency in AFP processes and thermoset resins
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Adaptability and responsiveness to technical challenges
- Fluent in French and English
