Your Role

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will design and implement secure, high-performance and scalable cloud solutions on Azure or AWS. You will work closely with development teams to build cloud-native applications, ensure compliance, and optimize architectures for availability and performance. This role combines cloud solution design, security expertise, and hands-on development in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud solutions on AWS (or Azure), ensuring high availability, performance, and security compliance.
• Architect and deploy high-performance cloud infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, ARM templates, or similar).
• Implement event-driven architectures and integrate with Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Develop cloud-native applications and cloud functions using Java (Spring Boot), Node.js or similar languages.
• Ensure security best practices across all layers, including compliance with OWASP guidelines.
• Optimize architectures for scalability, cost-efficiency, and performance.
• Work with Redis for caching and high-speed data access.
• Build and consume GraphQL APIs and RESTful services.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage AI tools and frameworks to optimize development workflows, automate tasks, and enhance cloud solution capabilities.

Your Profile

• Strong experience in cloud solution design on AWS (or Azure).
• Experience with backend development using Java (Spring Boot), Node.js or similar technologies
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates, or similar).
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and Kafka.
• Experience with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of AI concepts and ability to integrate AI-driven features and tools into cloud solutions.
• A collaborative spirit & customer-oriented attitude
• Result-driven & focused on delivering quality
• Language proficiency in Dutch and English (French is considered an asset)

• Familiarity with OWASP security principles, SAML, and OAuth 2.0 is an asset
• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps practices is an asset
