Job Description

  • Monitoring and ensuring the ageing management of civil engineering structures, guaranteeing compliance with technical operating specifications and contributing to the definition and application of inspection criteria
  • Providing technical support to maintenance teams in the resolution of defects and deviations, while conducting regular site visits to collect relevant field data
  • Ensuring regulatory watch in the field of civil engineering ageing and adapting internal procedures accordingly to maintain full compliance
  • Supporting project teams as a technical expert during design and implementation phases, including contributing as a Design Study Lead in the context of unit life extension projects
  • Representing the civil engineering ageing domain in internal committees and ensuring the successful outcome of external audits related to this field

Your Profile

  • You hold a degree in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • A minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • A background or interest in the nuclear sector is a strong advantage
  • You have solid knowledge of ageing mechanisms in civil structures, particularly pathologies related to reinforced concrete, and you are eager to develop your expertise further in this specialised domain
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a methodical, rigorous, and solution-oriented approach to your work
  • You are comfortable working autonomously, are not afraid to ask questions, and show flexibility and creativity when tackling complex technical challenges
  • You are proficient in both French and English
  • Knowledge of Dutch is considered an asset
  • Strong written communication skills and ease with digital tools are essential
