YOUR ROLE

Excited to work on a project for a key Belgian player in the energy landscape? As a Cable Route Survey Engineer Senior, you'll play a crucial role in building a sustainable energy infrastructure connecting Belgium and the UK power grids.

 

In this role you will play a key role in:

 

  • Defining and managing seabed survey requirements (geophysical and geotechnical) for the development of the offshore cable route
  • Supporting route engineering activities including route refinement, optimization, and identification of constraints and hazards
  • Managing geographical and survey data within the project GIS environment
  • Interpreting survey data related to seabed morphology, water depth, and sub-seabed conditions to identify geological features and installation risks
  • Providing technical expertise during tender processes, including review of submissions and support for contractual negotiations

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master of Science in Oceanography, Geology, Geophysics or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience with offshore geophysical and geotechnical surveys, preferably in the North Sea
  • Proven track record in delivering high-quality survey scopes for offshore infrastructure projects
  • Solid understanding of survey methods, data QA/QC and reporting standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with ability to work in an international project environment
