Business Analyst | Energy

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst for one of our client in the energy sector in Brussels. You will coordinate thematic workstreams, engage stakeholders, formalise business needs, and support change management activities as the future Academy takes shape.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Leading the identification, structuring and monitoring workstreams — including areas such as district heating, compressed air, testing facilities, training spaces and site logistics — ensuring clear objectives, deliverables, roadmaps and risk tracking are in place for each.
• Coordinating and facilitating multi-stakeholder working groups, preparing governance and SteerCo materials, following up on decisions and action plans, and producing meeting minutes and executive summaries to ensure effective project steering.
• Gathering, formalising and analysing business requirements from relevant communities, performing functional analyses, mapping current and future uses, and preparing decision-support documents and scoping papers.
• Supporting communication and change management efforts by preparing awareness and presentation materials, identifying adoption risks, consolidating user feedback, and contributing to the engagement of impacted communities throughout the programme's transitional phase.
• Ensuring consistent progress reporting across all workstreams, consolidating contributions from various stakeholders and producing structured analyses that support management decisions at each stage of the programme.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a collaborative and results-driven professional who combines solid analytical skills with strong interpersonal and coordination abilities. You are comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments and can translate ambiguity into clear, actionable plans.

• 5 to 6 years of professional experience in Business Analysis, with a proven track record in project or workstream coordination within transformation or change programmes.
• Hands-on experience facilitating working groups and engaging diverse stakeholder communities, with the ability to synthesise complex inputs into clear requirements, decisions and governance materials.
• Strong skills in process mapping, functional analysis and the preparation of business requirements, scoping documents and decision-support summaries.
• Excellent communication skills combined with diplomacy, strong listening ability and a high level of operational autonomy — enabling you to work independently while keeping all stakeholders aligned and informed.
• Proficiency in preparing structured communication and presentation materials, with an ability to adapt messaging to different audiences, from operational teams to senior leadership.
