Bid & Project Manager | Defense

Job Description

Location: Liège

As a Bid & Project Manager, you will play a dual role in both the bid preparation and project execution phases, serving as a key element in ensuring successful project delivery.

You will play a key role in:

• Defining the initial project baseline with viable solutions and clear project structures aligned with business segment strategy
• Building, challenging, and validating bid proposals while managing risks and opportunities for future projects
• Establishing delivery milestones, consolidating costs, and validating project toolkits during the bid phase
• Managing the transition from bid to project phase, including team building, stakeholder identification, and governance establishment
• Implementing financial management for work packages, including "Make or Buy" strategy decisions
• Ensuring project accountability while respecting stakeholder commitments and managing risks/opportunities

Your Profile

• Master's degree in engineering 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management in high-tech environments
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams toward shared objectives
• Autonomous, rigorous, and able to think outside the box
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Comfortable working without step-by-step procedures in matrix team environments
• Self-motivated with a drive to bring new ideas and skills to daily work
• Proficiency in both French and English
• Experience in military and/or aerospace fields is considered a valuable asset
