Join us for a career full of opportunities. Where you can make a difference. Where no two days are the same.
Your Role
As a CAD Designer/Drafter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all as-built drawings across our client site remain accurate, up to date, and accessible to all relevant stakeholders. Working within a team of around 10 colleagues in the Drawing Office, you will be the guardian of critical technical documentation — from floor plans and electrical drawings to P&IDs, classification plans, and utility drawings. Beyond day-to-day maintenance, you will also contribute to an innovative GIS project that is set to transform how drawing data is visualised and interacted with across the site. In this role you will play a key role in:
- Modifying and maintaining as-built drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault, ensuring all records reflect the current state of the site at all times
- Processing drawing requests for new or updated plans, managing the full revision and publication workflow to ensure the latest versions are always accessible via the Drawing Office portal
- Assigning and managing valve and tag numbers for central utility systems, maintaining a unique and consistent identification system to prevent duplication and ensure operational clarity
- Supporting audit preparations by reviewing technical drawings and preparing or printing the necessary documentation for inspections, contributing to the site's compliance and regulatory readiness
- Contributing actively to the development of an innovative Geographic Information System (GIS) project, using drawing data to build an intelligent and interactive user interface that enhances site-wide visibility
- Working with the Job Processor to convert drawing files (.dwg) into PDF format and publish them in a shared environment, making the latest revisions available to all employees of the client
Your Profile
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with Autodesk applications, particularly AutoCAD, and ideally with Autodesk Vault for drawing management
- You have a relevant bachelor's degree in an Electrical or Mechanical background
- You have a good mobility to our client in Puurs
- You are fluent in Dutch, speaking English is a plus
- You bring a structured and methodical approach to your work, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail in all technical documentation tasks
- You are a proactive communicator who takes ownership of your responsibilities, keeps stakeholders informed of progress, and flags potential issues in a timely manner
- You have a genuine interest in digitalization and innovation, and are motivated to actively contribute to the ongoing development of the GIS project and other forward-looking initiatives
