Aerodynamic Design Engineer | Aeronautics
Job Description
- Designing and optimising compressor blade profiles and aerofoils to meet performance, efficiency, and operability margin targets
- Contributing to multi-disciplinary trade-off studies, integrating aerodynamic performance with mechanical and manufacturing constraints
- Supporting the preparation and coordination of aerodynamic test campaigns to validate design choices
- Collaborating with mechanical and design teams to ensure coherent integration of aerodynamic solutions within the broader system
- Producing and maintaining technical documentation, including calculation notes, technical reports, and design guidelines
Your Profile
- You hold an engineering degree (or equivalent) in aerospace, fluid mechanics, or a related discipline, and have a first experience or strong academic background in turbomachinery or aerodynamic design
- You have a sound understanding of axial compressor design principles, including blade profiling, performance analysis, and operability concepts
- You are comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary environment, and able to communicate effectively with mechanical and structural engineering teams to support technical decision-making
- You demonstrate rigour and attention to detail in your technical work, with the ability to document and present your analyses clearly
- You are curious, eager to learn, and motivated to develop your expertise in a complex and innovative engineering environment
- You are fluent in French and English
