As an AWS AI Cloud Solution Architect, your role is to design, build and scale AI-powered solutions on Amazon Web Services. You act as a trusted advisor for both business and IT stakeholders, translating business needs into secure, scalable and cost‑effective AI architectures on AWS.

You work at the intersection of cloud architecture, machine learning and generative AI, guiding clients from strategy to implementation while ensuring solutions are production-ready, responsible and aligned with enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI and machine learning architectures on AWS, from data ingestion and model development to deployment and integration with enterprise systems

• Architect generative AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock, including foundation model selection, prompt design, security and governance
• Define and build ML platforms and workflows using Amazon SageMaker, covering training, tuning, deployment and MLOps
• Translate business and functional requirements into well-architected AWS AI solutions, aligned with security, compliance and cost-optimization best practices
• Advise clients on AI adoption strategies, including cloud migration, modernization and responsible AI practices
• Lead proofs of concept, architecture workshops and hackathons
• Support pre-sales activities, including solution design, estimations and client presentations
• Stay current with AWS AI and cloud innovations, sharing knowledge and best practices within the Capgemini community

Coach and mentor junior architects and engineers in cloud and AI design principles

Your Profile

• Proven experience in an enterprise Cloud Solution Architect / AI Architect (or similar) role. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of solution scope and lead stakeholders from design through delivery.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture, including services such as VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, and EKS
• Practical experience with AWS AI/ML services, including
  • Amazon Bedrock for generative AI and foundation model integration
  • Amazon SageMaker for model development, training, deployment and MLOps
  • Optional experience with services such as Rekognition, Comprehend, Textract or Kendra
• Experience designing secure, scalable and cost-efficient architectures following the AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Familiarity with DevOps and MLOps practices, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Consulting mindset and a client-centric approach
• AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Machine Learning – Specialty) are a strong plus
• Language proficiency in Dutch and English (French is considered an asset)
