ADAS HILL Engineer | Automotive (VIE)

YOUR ROLE

As a VIE ADAS HILL Engineer, you will be part of our innovative automotive team working on cutting-edge Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. You will contribute to the development and testing of ADAS solutions using Hardware-in-the-Loop simulation environments to ensure safety, reliability, and performance of autonomous driving features.

 

In this role you will play a key role in:

 

  • Setting up and maintaining Hardware-in-the-Loop test environments for ADAS components and systems
  • Developing test scenarios and test cases for various ADAS functions like adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and automated emergency braking
  • Executing test procedures and analyzing test results to identify potential issues and improvements
  • Supporting the integration of sensor models (cameras, radar, lidar) into the HIL environment
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including software developers, system engineers, and validation teams
  • Documenting test procedures, results, and technical specifications according to automotive industry standards

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field
  • Experience in automotive engineering, preferably with exposure to ADAS systems or HIL testing
  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems architecture and ADAS technologies
  • Familiarity with HIL testing concepts and tools (dSPACE, Vector, National Instruments, or similar)
  • Understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet)
  • Basic programming skills in at least one language (Python, C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Fluent in English
