About the role you're consdering
Capgemini is hiring Webmethods Integration Architect (Sr Manager level) for a fulltime position. Ideal candidate should be willing to work hybrid from Capgemini client or local office.
Your role
• 10+ years of enterprise WebMethods / Integration experience across one or more leading integration platforms, with demonstrated progression into architecture and technical leadership roles.
• Minimum of 5 end-to-end, full lifecycle WebMethods implementations, covering requirements analysis, architecture and design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing WebMethods architecture, including integration patterns, orchestration, rules engines, caching strategies, and performance optimization.
• Deep troubleshooting and diagnostic experience, including advanced use of debuggers, flow analyzers, logging frameworks, monitoring tools, and WebMethods configuration utilities in complex production environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor distributed delivery teams, including onsite, nearshore, and offshore developers; provides architectural direction, code reviews, and technical governance
• Strong hands-on experience integrating ERP and SaaS applications, applying industry best practices for security, scalability, error handling, and resiliency using the integration platform. (Highly desirable)
• Experience designing platform deployment and physical architectures across On-Prem, Cloud, and Hybrid models, with clear understanding of tradeoffs, cost, performance, and operational impact. (Highly desirable)
• Ability to define and document platform architecture standards and best practices, including: o Physical and logical architecture patterns o Deployment models o Runbooks, playbooks, and operational guides o Support and escalation procedures
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture concepts, including: o Security and encryption o Authentication and authorization o Logging, monitoring, and observability o Throttling, rate limiting, and traffic management o Scalability, clustering, and resilience
• Ability to partner with client technical leadership and enterprise architects to define integration strategy, roadmap, and target-state architecture aligned with business objectives.
• Proven experience leading technical workshops and design sessions, including architecture reviews, platform deep dives, and solution design discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Accountability for architecture governance and design authority
• Ownership of platform standards, reusable assets, and reference architectures
• Participation in pre-sales, solution estimation, and technical proposal development
Your skills and experience
- Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and operating the WebMethods on major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud), including networking, security, and environment sizing. (Highly desirable)
- Strong API and integration fundamentals, including hands-on experience with JSON, RESTful APIs, synchronous and asynchronous messaging, and event-driven architectures.
- WebMethods Architecture certification is required, demonstrating formal validation of WebMethods design and implementation expertise.
- Experience defining and implementing architectural patterns that support: o High availability o Fault tolerance o Disaster recovery o High transaction throughput and scalability
- Experience across multiple integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, TIBCO, webMethods, etc.), with the ability to compare, evaluate, and recommend platforms based on use case and enterprise needs.
- Experience leveraging cloud-native integration services, such as Apigee, Azure Integration Services, or equivalent, and integrating them with enterprise integration platforms.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $101,300 - $250,640
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
