About the job you're considering:

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Data Cloud Engineer / Architect with hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly CDP / Data 360) implementation experience. This role is not a traditional Salesforce development role; rather, it requires deep expertise in data architecture, customer data platforms, identity resolution, and closure sales–driven data models.The ideal candidate will have proven experience designing and implementing Customer 360 solutions, managing complex data ingestion pipelines, and enabling analytics and AI-driven insights to support sales, marketing, and customer engagement strategies.

Your Role:

 

  • Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360 solutions, including at least one end-to-end implementation
  • Configure and administer Salesforce Data Cloud, including data spaces, permissions, data streams, and governance
  • Design and build Customer 360 / CDP data models, including:
    • Data ingestion from multiple sources
    • Data mapping to Customer 360
    • Identity resolution and de-duplication rules
  • Build and manage identity resolution strategies to create unified customer profiles
  • Work extensively with Data Streams, Data Lake Objects (DLOs), and Data Model Objects (DMOs)
  • Develop and optimize SQL-based data transformations, JSON structures, and ETL/ELT processes
  • Build scalable data ingestion pipelines using MuleSoft, APIs, and event-driven architectures
  • Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Teradata) using APIs and middleware
  • Design and enable analytics and insights using:
    • CRMA (Einstein Analytics)
    • Tableau
    • Agentic AI capabilities
  • Support and contribute to Agentforce, Einstein Studio, and advanced Data Cloud integrations
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and data teams to ensure data models align with closure sales and go-to-market strategies

 

Required Technical Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Snowflake, including Zero Copy Integration
  • Strong AWS knowledge and hands-on experience
  • Solid understanding of enterprise integrations and event-driven architectures
  • Salesforce Data Cloud Certification (preferred)
  • Experience with AI-driven analytics, predictive insights, and personalization use cases
  • Prior experience supporting sales closure processes through data-driven insights
  • Senior-level experience as a Salesforce Data Cloud Engineer or Architect
  • Minimum one full Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360 implementation
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud schemas
    • Salesforce Data Cloud configuration and administration
  • Expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and Customer 360 architecture
  • Advanced proficiency in:
    • SQL
    • JSON
    • ETL / ELT pipelines
    • SSJS

 

 

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$76,000 to $187,000.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
