About the Job You're Considering
You will join Capgemini Invent's Finance Transformation team, partnering with CFOs and finance leaders to reimagine how finance organizations operate in the digital age. We help clients transform their finance functions through operating model redesign, process modernization, ERP-enabled transformation, and AI-powered automation.
As a senior leader, you will shape and deliver complex transformation programs that improve business performance across people, process, technology, and data. You will advise executive stakeholders, develop compelling transformation strategies and business cases, and lead large-scale initiatives that drive measurable value realization.
This role is ideal for a consulting leader who combines deep finance expertise with transformation experience and has a proven ability to grow client relationships, build high-performing teams, and deliver sustainable business outcomes.
Your Role
Executive Advisory & Transformation Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs and senior finance executives, helping shape finance transformation strategies, operating model evolution, and enterprise performance improvement initiatives.
- Build and sustain strong executive relationships while serving as a strategic thought leader, transformation advocate, and catalyst for organizational change.
- Define enterprise-wide transformation visions, roadmaps, and business cases spanning people, process, technology, data, governance, and operating model considerations.
- Provide leadership across large-scale business and technology transformations, with deep expertise in Order-to-Cash and its impact on growth, working capital, customer experience, and operational performance.
Finance Operating Model & Order-to-Cash Transformation
- Design and implement future-state operating models that enhance organizational effectiveness, governance, internal controls, service delivery, and business performance.
- Lead finance transformation initiatives across Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, FP&A, Treasury, Financial Controls, Shared Services, and Order-to-Cash.
- Bring deep expertise in Order-to-Cash, including quote-to-order, order management, pricing, billing, collections, cash application, credit management, disputes, deductions, and customer account services.
- Establish and lead Transformation Offices and Program Management Offices (PMOs) that provide governance, execution oversight, risk management, and value realization across complex portfolios.
- Drive ERP-enabled finance modernization programs, including SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, Workday, and other enterprise platforms that support end-to-end finance transformation.
- Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, automate, and optimize finance processes through digital, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Collaborate across business, technology, data, and change management teams to deliver integrated solutions that achieve measurable operational and financial outcomes.
Client Growth & Business Development
- Identify, shape, and develop finance transformation and Order-to-Cash opportunities that address critical client challenges and generate sustainable business value.
- Lead proposal development, solution design, executive presentations, and pursuit strategies for strategic transformation engagements.
- Build trusted client relationships that position Capgemini as a long-term partner for business transformation, value realization, and innovation.
- Contribute to thought leadership, market development, and practice growth initiatives that strengthen Capgemini's market presence and differentiation.
People & Practice Leadership
- Lead multidisciplinary teams spanning finance, technology, data, analytics, and organizational change management.
- Coach, mentor, and develop consultants and managers while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning.
- Ensure delivery excellence through strong engagement management, quality assurance, talent development, and client satisfaction.
- Support capability building, knowledge management, and the growth of finance transformation and Order-to-Cash competencies across the practice.
Your Skills + Experience
You bring strong AI literacy and an understanding of how emerging technologies, including Generative AI, can accelerate business transformation and create competitive advantage. You are comfortable identifying AI-enabled opportunities, integrating AI into transformation programs, and leveraging AI-augmented ways of working to enhance research, analysis, decision-making, and solution development.
You collaborate effectively across strategy, business, technology, data, and design disciplines to deliver AI-enabled solutions while maintaining a strong understanding of responsible AI principles, including ethics, security, privacy, governance, and risk management. You demonstrate intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
Required Experience
- 15+ years of experience leading finance transformation, operating model redesign, and enterprise transformation initiatives within consulting, industry, or a combination of both.
- Deep expertise across core finance processes, including FP&A, Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Treasury, Financial Controls, Shared Services, and finance operating model transformation.
- Recognized expertise in Order-to-Cash transformation, including process optimization, customer operations, working capital improvement, and supporting technology solutions.
- Proven success defining transformation strategies, business cases, target operating models, and value realization frameworks that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Experience leading ERP-enabled finance modernization programs, ideally including SAP S/4HANA, with exposure to Oracle, Workday, or comparable enterprise platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to advise executive stakeholders, facilitate complex decision-making, influence across organizations, and build lasting trusted advisor relationships.
- Experience establishing and leading Transformation Offices, governance structures, PMOs, and cross-functional teams across business, technology, data, and change management organizations.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and business development capabilities, including pursuit leadership and solution shaping.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline required. MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant advanced professional qualifications preferred.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $121,400 - $237,360
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
