About the job you’re considering:

This role supports data governance, master data management (MDM), data quality, and responsible AI initiatives by helping clients improve data accuracy, compliance, and business processes. The position involves analyzing data, supporting governance frameworks, creating client deliverables, conducting research, and collaborating with business and technology teams to drive trusted data and successful project outcomes. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with an interest in data management and emerging AI technologies.

Your Role

  • Support the delivery of client engagements related to data governance, data quality, master data management (MDM), and data privacy frameworks
  • Assist in gathering, organizing, and analyzing client data and process information to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Support MDM-related activities such as data standardization, deduplication, hierarchy management, and stewardship process design
  • Contribute to the creation of client deliverables, including reports, presentations, process maps, data models, and governance documentation
  • Participate in client workshops and interviews, capturing requirements and synthesizing findings under the guidance of senior team members
  • Conduct research on industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging practices in data trust, master data management, and responsible AI
  • Practical experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to support research, drafting, or analysis
  • Support project management activities such as tracking action items, timelines, and deliverable status
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technology, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders) to ensure alignment on project objectives
  • Continuously build technical and functional knowledge of data trust tools, frameworks, and methodologies
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, seeking feedback proactively and applying it to improve future work

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; comfortable breaking down complex problems into structured components
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into clear, concise deliverables
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in all work products
  • Basic understanding of responsible AI principles (fairness, transparency, accountability) and how trustworthy data underpins trustworthy AI
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply sound professional judgment rather than accepting results at face value
  • Prior internship, co-op, or project experience in consulting, technology, or data-related roles
  • Proactive approach to learning new tools, frameworks, and industry knowledge with minimal supervision
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and adapting quickly as project needs evolve
  • Track record of seeking feedback and using it to grow (academic, internship, or work experience)
  • Growth mindset — willingness to take on stretch assignments and expand scope of responsibility over time
  • Nice to have:  MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM, Reltio, STIBO, Ataccama) or data visualization/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python)
