We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer experience into Design, develop and deploy solutions on SAS Viya platform (CAS, Visual Analytics, Model Studio).
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable analytics and data solutions on the SAS Viya platform.
- Lead the implementation of SAS Viya components including CAS, Visual Analytics, and Model Studio.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and analytical workflows to support business objectives.
- Integrate SAS Viya with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Ensure platform performance, reliability, security, and adherence to governance standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application and platform support.
- Drive automation, deployment, and operational best practices across the SAS Viya environment.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the team.
- Participate in architecture reviews, solution design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support compliance, risk management, and data governance requirements in regulated environments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, architects, and project managers to deliver successful outcomes.
- Design, develop and deploy solutions on SAS Viya platform (CAS, Visual Analytics, Model Studio).
- Build and optimise data pipelines, in-memory processing and analytics workflows.
- Develop reusable code using SAS, Python or REST APIs within Viya ecosystem.
- Integrate SAS Viya with upstream/downstream systems and cloud platforms.
- Perform performance tuning, debugging and production support.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts and business stakeholders for requirements.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, governance and security best practices.
