Technical Leader – User Interface on Android Tablet for Oven

Location: Coimbatore, Bangalore
Experience: 10–16 years

Role Mission

As a Technical Leader for the User Interface on Android Tablet, you will lead the development of an intuitive, secure, and integrated UI for oven control. The solution will enable seamless communication between the Android tablet and the oven over Wi-Fi, leveraging Matter and MQTT protocols for secure and reliable data management.

Your Role

In this role, you will:

• Lead the design and development of the UI on Android tablet, ensuring alignment with product specifications and user needs.
• Coordinate the team in developing Android applications focused on integration with embedded systems and remote oven control.
• Design and implement communication between tablet and oven via Wi-Fi using Matter and MQTT protocols for interoperability, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and UX/UI teams to ensure seamless integration between user interface and oven functionalities.
• Validate and optimize application performance, focusing on responsiveness, stability, and security of wireless connections.
• Manage technical documentation and participate in code and design reviews.
• Support system requirements definition and regulatory compliance (e.g., safety, privacy).
• Promote best practices in software development and quality management.

Your Profile

• Strong experience in Android development: Java/Kotlin, Android Studio, Material Design.
• Expertise in UI/UX design for modern and responsive interfaces.
• In-depth knowledge of wireless communication: Wi-Fi, Matter, and MQTT protocols.
• Ability to integrate Android applications with embedded systems using standard protocols.
• Proficiency in secure management of Wi-Fi networks and data transmission.
• Skilled in debugging and troubleshooting using analysis, logging, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative code management.
• Ability to produce clear and detailed technical documentation.
