Job Description

Experience – 10-18 years

Location – Coimbatore

Lead Engineer is an experienced engineer responsible for translating architecture into detailed design and
responsible for guiding design engineers. A Lead Engineer is an engineer and part of the development team,
who has experience with Client's WoW, can independently lead technical meetings and review work, can guide
team on technical workflow of features and is proficient in use of tools used by the team members (both
Capgemini and Client's technical and project process tools)Carry out all Design Engineer’s responsibilities independently without guidance and with high quality.

Primary Skills:

▪ Coach and guide design engineers in their tasks and responsibilities and provide feedback to help with their
technical growth.
▪ Review and finalise all outputs produced by the design engineers. This includes, but is not limited to:
Technical Product Documentations, Bill of Materials, 3D Models.
▪ Collaborate with suppliers and people in the factory or in the field to realise the solution.
▪ Work closely with Design Engineers and Product Owners/Project Managers to define the work, deliver scope
on time and with necessary quality requirements.
▪ Identify dependencies in assigned features or work packages and communicate to Design Engineers and
Product Owner/Project Manager
▪ Lead technical meetings and engage with stakeholders to solve technical issues.
▪ Lead design reviews with the team members and provide constructive feedback.

Secondary Skills:

▪ Collaborate with Change Control Board and provide feedback on assigned work.
▪ Work with other Lead Engineers to introduce good practices and drive knowledge sharing via engagements
such as CoP meetings.
