We are seeking a Blue Yonder Transportation Management System (TMS) Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of transportation planning and execution capabilities within the HPE logistics ecosystem. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, logistics partners, and IT teams to deliver scalable transportation solutions that improve cost efficiency, service levels, and operational visibility across global supply chain operations.
The role requires strong experience in Blue Yonder TMS configuration, transportation planning processes, and system integration within enterprise supply chain landscapes, particularly in environments integrated with ERP platforms such as SAP.
Your role
Transportation Solution Design
- Design and configure Blue Yonder TMS solutions supporting transportation planning, load optimization, routing, and execution.
- Translate business logistics requirements into scalable transportation solution architectures.
- Support deployment of transportation capabilities across regional and global logistics networks.
Implementation & Configuration
- Configure and maintain Blue Yonder TMS modules, including:
- Order Management
- Shipment Planning
- Load Consolidation
- Route Optimization
- Carrier Selection
- Freight Costing and Settlement
- Participate in system configuration, functional testing, and deployment activities.
Integration & Ecosystem Connectivity
- Support integration between Blue Yonder TMS and enterprise systems, including:
- SAP S/4HANA
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Carrier EDI platforms
- Freight visibility platforms
- Work with middleware technologies such as Seeburger, APIs, or integration frameworks to enable data exchange across systems.
Business Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities to improve transportation planning efficiency, freight cost optimization, and carrier utilization.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across transportation operations and logistics planning.
Testing & Deployment
- Participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments.
- Support defect resolution and system stabilization post go-live.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure alignment between business processes and system capabilities.
- Provide functional guidance to business users on transportation planning processes.
Your skills and experience
- 5+ years of experience implementing or supporting Blue Yonder TMS.
- Strong understanding of transportation planning and logistics operations.
- Experience with transportation optimization, load building, routing, and freight settlement.
- Experience integrating TMS with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Understanding of EDI transactions (204, 214, 990, 210) and carrier communication processes.
- Experience supporting testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and production support activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in global logistics environments supporting large enterprise supply chains.
- Familiarity with Blue Yonder platform architecture and configuration frameworks.
- Experience working with transportation visibility solutions or freight audit systems.
- Exposure to integration platforms such as Seeburger, MuleSoft, or SAP BTP.
- Knowledge of North America and global transportation regulations and carrier networks.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $65,200 - $169,000 / year
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
