Test Automation Manager

Job Description and Requirements:

Location: Libertyville, IL (Hybrid)

• Test Strategy and Planning:
  • Experience in leading teams and conducting both manual and automation testing.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing Test Strategies.
  • Proficient in Test Planning, Execution, and Reporting.
  • Experience in Test Data and Test Environment Quality Engineering dependencies/requirements definition and coordination Management
  • Ability to assist in determining static / dynamic data strategy for testing.
  • Experience in Database/ETL testing and ability to build SQL queries for test data preparation
  • Ability to jump in and perform manual testing as needed.
  • Ability to define and build a quality engineering team based on project requirements
• Test Automation:
  • Experience leading teams developing, maintaining and executing test automation scripts
  • Experience with Test Automation using Selenium with Java.
  • Ability to develop new automation solutions based on requirements as required.
  • Experience with API testing tools, including Postman.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps Test Management Tool.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in SQL for writing queries to support testing activities.
  • Capable of suggesting strategies for performance and security testing.
• Communication and Coordination:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders within the client organization.
  • Coordination with offshore teams and providing guidance.
  • Hands-on approach with a focus on strategic planning.
• Work Allocation:
  • Approximately 60% of work focused on lead responsibilities.
  • Approximately 40% dedicated to manual testing tasks.
