Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and issue resolution across enterprise applications and cloud-hosted platforms. This role requires a hands-on analyst who can independently investigate issues across application, integration, database, cloud, and reporting layers while partnering closely with development, architecture, QA, support, and business teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Splunk, AWS environments, data analysis, and AI-assisted troubleshooting tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead defect triage, issue investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution management across enterprise systems.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues across application, integration, database, cloud, and reporting layers.
  • Utilize SQL, Splunk, AWS monitoring/logging tools, database query tools, and AI-enabled analysis tools to identify and resolve incidents.
  • Own tickets and production issues from intake through closure, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, support teams, and business stakeholders to determine root causes and validate solutions.
  • Investigate issues related to code, configurations, integrations, data quality, reporting logic, and business processes.
  • Validate fixes, perform impact analysis, and ensure closure confirmation.
  • Document findings, root cause details, business impact assessments, remediation actions, and validation outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application stability and support processes.

Required Skills

  • Defect triage, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • End-to-end ownership of incidents and support tickets.
  • Strong SQL querying, data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Splunk or similar log analysis and monitoring tools.
  • AWS-hosted application support and cloud troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong data analysis capabilities across structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Experience with AI-enabled solutions, intelligent automation, or AI-assisted analysis tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with development, QA, architecture, support, and business teams.

Required Qualification

  • 8+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Systems Analysis, Production Support, Application Support, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in defect triage, incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution ownership.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Experience using Splunk or equivalent log monitoring and analysis platforms.
  • Experience supporting applications hosted in AWS cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience collaborating directly with developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Exposure to AI-driven tools, AI-enabled solutions, or intelligent automation platforms.

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications and integrations.
  • Knowledge of cloud monitoring and observability tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Experience working with incident management and ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Understanding of data quality, reporting platforms, and integration frameworks.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $82,082 to 193,440

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
