Capgemini is seeking a Transformation SME Lead to drive strategy and transformation across Legal Services Legal Operations Governance Risk Compliance and Contract Lifecycle Management
This senior leadership role focuses on scaling Legal as a Service capabilities with strong emphasis on transformation operating model design client advisory and regulated environments
Role Overview
This role combines strategic leadership client engagement solutioning and go to market development to build differentiated legal managed services offerings integrating AI automation regulatory operations and business services transformation
You will help position Capgemini as a leading transformation partner in Legal and Regulatory Services while supporting complex client engagements and growth
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Offering Development
Support Legal as a Service strategy and roadmap
Develop scalable offerings across Legal Operations CLM Governance Risk and Compliance and Regulatory Operations
Drive AI led and agentic transformation solutions
Integrate legal services into enterprise transformation initiatives
GTM and Business Development
Support go to market strategy messaging and sales collateral
Partner on strategic pursuits proposals and client discussions
Contribute to pipeline growth and opportunity identification
Articulate business value and transformation outcomes
Transformation and Client Advisory
Lead legal transformation and operating model initiatives
Assess current state and define target operating models and governance structures
Advise on modernization process optimization and service delivery frameworks
Support enterprise transformation across legal procurement and compliance
Client and Stakeholder Management
Act as trusted advisor to General Counsel Legal Operations and Compliance leaders
Facilitate executive workshops and transformation discussions
Collaborate across global and cross functional teams
Innovation and Operational Excellence
Drive innovation using AI GenAI automation analytics and workflow orchestration
Develop reusable assets and transformation accelerators
Stay current on legal technology and regulatory trends
Key Requirements
Strong expertise in Legal Operations CLM Governance Risk Compliance or Legal Managed Services
Experience in transformation consulting operating model design or business process services
Demonstrated ability to support go to market strategy and solution development
Executive level communication and stakeholder engagement
Ability to operate in complex global organizations
Familiarity with AI automation and legal technology ecosystems
Qualifications and Experience
12 to 15 plus years in Legal Operations Legal Transformation CLM Governance Risk Compliance or related domains
Advanced degree in Law Business Administration or related field
Experience supporting transformation programs and managed services engagements
Contribution to business growth strategic pursuits or solutioning initiatives
Strong executive communication and presentation skills

Job Description - Grade Specific
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $107,580 - $321,175. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
