Marketing & Communications Business Partner, Chicago

Role Overview 
As a Marketing & Communications Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening executive visibility, shaping client and partner narratives, and supporting business growth through clear, compelling, and consistent communications.
You will act as a trusted communications partner to business leaders, translating strategy, delivery outcomes, and client value into impactful messaging across digital, social, internal, and partner-facing channels. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, requiring strong judgment, storytelling ability, and cross-functional orchestration. In addition to thought leadership and content development, you will support critical marketing operations such as campaign execution, partner communications, and event enablement; helping ensure that marketing efforts are aligned, timely, and outcome driven.

Key Responsibilities
1. Executive & Leadership Communications
•    Develop and curate executive-ready content including:
o    Thought leadership perspectives
o    Client success highlights
o    Business updates and event-related messaging
•    Enable Leaders / VPs to strengthen their social media footprint by:
o    Serve as the primary communications partner for the Managing Director, owning end-to-end management of his/her social media presence (primarily LinkedIn)
o    Providing ready-to-post drafts, themes, and talking points
o    Aligning leadership communications to active campaigns, events, and priorities
•    Monitor engagement and continuously refine messaging, tone, and cadence

2. Client Use Case Development & Value Storytelling
•    Partner with GTM, Delivery, and Account teams to identify and extract:
o    Client success stories
o    Transformation outcomes
o    Differentiated value delivered
•    Translate complex consulting and delivery work into:
o    Clear, outcome-focused narratives
o    Executive-ready presentations and storytelling decks
•    Develop short-form and long-form content that can be reused across:
o    Sales enablement
o    Partner communications
o    Social and internal channels

3. Internal, Partner & Other Communications
•    Support internal communications to reinforce priorities, initiatives, and employee engagement
•    Own external communications with alliance partners and hyperscalers, working closely with alliance teams to:
o    Shape joint narratives and messaging
o    Support co-branded success stories and announcements
•    Act as a coordination point across:
o    Alliance and partner managers
o    Competency leads
o    GTM and delivery stakeholders
•    Ensure messaging consistency and clarity across leadership, partners, and delivery teams
•    Support execution of marketing campaigns by:
o    Coordinating inputs from business, delivery, and partner stakeholders
o    Working with central marketing teams that manage execution and design
•    Enable partner and industry events by:
o    Supporting booth and event messaging
o    Ensuring alignment between event narratives, social amplification, and follow-up content

4. Marketing Operations & Content Governance
•    Manage content calendars across executives, campaigns, and events
•    Coordinate with designers, writers, and central marketing teams to deliver high-quality outputs
•    Ensure brand consistency, clarity, and timeliness of all communications
•    Bring structure and discipline to leadership-driven, time-sensitive communication requests

Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience & Background
•    3–6 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, consulting, or related roles
•    Consulting experience and/or relevant professional education (business, marketing, communications, management, or technology-adjacent fields)
•    Experience in consulting, technology services, or enterprise environments preferred
•    Comfort working with senior leaders and multiple stakeholders

Skills & Competencies
•    Strong written and verbal communication with an executive-ready tone
•    Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, value-driven messaging
•    Experience with executive communications and professional social media
•    Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
•    Highly organized, proactive, and execution-oriented

Tools & Ways of Working
•    Proficiency in PowerPoint / Google Slides
•    Familiarity with collaboration and content tools (LinkedIn, Teams, SharePoint, content calendars)
•    Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, business-facing environment

MandC Delivery Professional is playing a key role in the delivery of creative, brand-compliant, and cost-effective solutions/deliverables and as such proactively supporting MandC teams across the company. She/he oversees the communication and connection across various teams and relevant stakeholders. Is an advocate of best practices and innovation.

Job Description - Grade Specific

Supports Manager in the delivery of activitiesordeliverables and develops own MandC competencies. Operates as an MandC professional and has a reasonable understanding of their domain of expertise. Builds strong relationships with the team and key stakeholders at their level Able to act on own initiative but will require supervision, knows when to escalateorseek guidance

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $65,200 to $169,000.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
