Your Role

You will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing Wi-Fi software features, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering high-performance solutions for consumer networking products.

  • 5-10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on L2/L3 networking.
  • Design, develop, and test Wi-Fi software features for gateway/extender products.
  • Work on new Wi-Fi feature development on PrplOS platform.
  • Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot customer Wi-Fi issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and certification.
 

Your Profile

  • Strong understanding of IEEE802.11 / Wi-Fi protocol versions (4, 5, 6, and 7) and Wi-Fi Management Systems (EasyMesh, AirTies, OpenSync, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux OS and PrplOS platform.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP internals and common network protocols (DHCP, DNS, HTTP).
  • Exposure to Wi-Fi certification processes.
  • Hands-on experience with C/C++ programming and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with source version control tools like Git/GitHub.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
