Your Role

 

As a Wi-Fi Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and testing Wi-Fi software features for gateway and extender products. You will work on advanced technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

 

  • Design, develop, and test Wi-Fi software features for Wi-Fi gateway/extender products.
  • Work on development of new Wi-Fi features on the PrplOS platform.
  • Provide technical assistance to other teams to troubleshoot customer Wi-Fi issues.

Your Profile

 

  • Strong understanding of IEEE802.11 / Wi-Fi protocol versions (4, 5, 6, and 7) and Wi-Fi Management Systems (EasyMesh, AirTies, OpenSync, etc.).
  • 6–15 years of experience for WiFi products such as Access Points and Wireless LAN Controllers.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux Operating Systems and PrplOS platform.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP internals and common network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, HTTP.
  • Exposure to Wi-Fi certification process.
  • Hands-on experience in C/C++ programming and shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of source version control tools like Git, GitHub, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
