Unity Technical Artist
Location: Chennai, India
Experience: 9–12 years
About the Role
We are seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Unity Technical Artist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in 3D visualization and animation, who can bring maritime simulations to life through immersive and intuitive visual experiences. You will collaborate with Unity developers, designers, and domain experts to ensure high-quality rendering and usability across the platform.
Your Role:
- Develop high-fidelity 3D visualizations for digital twin simulations using Unity.
- Design and implement single interface layouts optimized for maritime applications.
- Create and refine 3D assets using tools like Maya, 3DS Max, or Blender.
- Apply lighting, shading, and animation techniques to enhance realism and usability.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure visual consistency and accessibility.
- Optimize performance of 3D scenes for real-time interaction and responsiveness.
- Work within agile teams to align visual design with product and engineering goals.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 9–12 years of experience in technical art and 3D visualization.
- Proven experience in Digital Twin technologies, preferably in maritime or industrial domains.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and animation tools (Maya, 3DS Max, Blender).
- Familiarity with lighting, shading, and animation workflows.
- Understanding of single interface design principles.
- Experience with Unity and basic scripting in C# (nice-to-have).
- Strong grasp of usability and accessibility in visual design.
- Ability to work collaboratively in agile development environments.
