Your Role

As an IPC Technical Author, you’ll create and revise Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) documentation for aerospace clients. You’ll ensure compliance and accuracy, support airworthiness standards, and mentor junior team members while contributing to continuous improvement.

  • Develop and update IPC content based on engineering changes.
  • Conduct impact analysis to maintain documentation accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform technical research aligned with regulatory and airworthiness standards.
  • Use client-authoring tools and update Capgemini workflow systems.
  • Review work of junior authors and participate in peer reviews.
  • Create mark-ups and instructions for illustrators.
  • Analyze rejection reports and implement corrective actions.
  • Share knowledge and support process enhancements.

Your Profile:

  • Experience in IPC authoring(2-8) Years, standards, and tools.
  • Strong technical research and analysis skills in aerospace documentation.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments and airworthiness compliance.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Knowledge of rejection analysis methods (e.g., 5 Why, 8D)
  • B.E/B.Tech in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering
  • AME or Diploma in Aeronautics / Mechanical Engineering
  • B.E in Mechanical Engineering with aerospace documentation experience
