Procurement Excellence Manager

Job Description

Leads medium-complex Procurement projects delivery for defined solutions and continuously strives to improve them. Participates in/ manages Procurement value delivery projects, by executing diverse and time-sensitive activities, considering compliance, quality and efficiency of delivery.  Acts as a change agent and develops relationships with project related Stakeholders. May lead and/or provides support to other team members in resolving project delivery issues within own procurement solution expertise.

Role Overview • Supervises Procurement Excellence projects/ processes service delivery as per agreed scope • Leads procurement medium projects/change management activities to meet their deliverables • Leads or supports roll outs of defined procurement solutions implementations • Performs procurement data gathering and reporting on reoccurring basis • Develops relationships with stakeholders • Understands Procurement policy and processes • Provides Procurement related expertise • Engages Stakeholders towards ESG related initiatives and sustainable Procurement ambition • Has knowledge about cross-functional work • Monitors process adherence across work perimeter and escalates as needed • Proposes and executes process improvements • Continuously looks for possible improvements to the procurement processes General Responsibilities / Accountabilities • Directs and supervises Procurement Excellence professionals in dispersed or complex environments, acting as a people manager to foster a collaborative and high-performing team • Drives the adoption of procurement solutions to ensure these are well-received by stakeholders • Autonomously designs, plans, and delivers projects according to the agreed scope and objectives • Performs change impact quantitative evaluation to increase organization awareness of Procurement solution impact • Independently monitors the defined process delivery to ensure delivery outcomes meet agreed targets • Provides support to Procurement Stakeholders request, related to already defined deliverables • Handles Procurement solution inquiries demonstrating professionalism, competence, and client-centricity • Builds and leverages relationships with internal (within Procurement) and external Stakeholders to align them towards Procurement solution • Delivers professional expertise, related to defined Procurement processes and policies • Develops and drives compliance and ESG related initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulations and laws • Demonstrates knowledge of Procurement processes and procedures relevant to the function • Demonstrates data-centric approach and applies it in decision-making processes • Cooperates with cross-functional teams to ensure right solution alignment • Enforces and updates all procurement policies, relevant procedures and compliance processes • Responsible for driving process compliance within the work perimeter and alignment with various Stakeholders (business and Group Level) • Continually seeks out ways to improve Stakeholders/ Client satisfaction • Addresses execution of agreed continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., based on business case)
