PDE EMC Part Level Validation
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform EMC validation testing for automotive components and ECUs, including both bench-level and chamber-based testing.
- Execute and interpret tests as per industry standards such as:
- ISO 11452 (Immunity testing)
- ISO 7637 (Transient immunity)
- CISPR 25 (Emission testing)
- Plan, prepare, and conduct EMC test setups, ensuring accurate configuration and calibration of test equipment.
- Analyze test results, identify non-compliances, and provide actionable recommendations for design improvements.
- Collaborate with design, hardware, and system engineering teams to address EMC-related issues.
- Document test results, validation reports, and compliance status in a structured and traceable manner.
- Support troubleshooting activities during EMC failures and drive root cause analysis.
- Ensure adherence to automotive validation processes and quality standards.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of EMC principles and automotive standards (ISO 11452, ISO 7637, CISPR 25).
- Hands-on experience with ECU EMC validation, including both bench testing and chamber testing.
- Familiarity with EMC test equipment such as LISN, antennas, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
- Ability to interpret test results and suggest improvements for compliance.
- Understanding of automotive electronics and system-level interactions.
- Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive domain with exposure to electronic control units (ECUs).
- Familiarity with validation lifecycle and compliance documentation.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
