YOUR ROLE

  • We are seeking a talented and experienced Logistics & Transportation Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving transportation and logistics transformation initiatives, optimizing freight operations, improving supply chain performance, and enabling digital solutions across global logistics networks.
  • The Logistics & Transportation Consultant acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology partners to deliver process improvements, cost optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.

YOUR PROFILE

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Analyze and optimize transportation and logistics operations across Road, Ocean, Air, and SPOT shipments.
  • Conduct freight spend analysis, transportation cost optimization, and value-unlock assessments.
  • Design and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes, operating models, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
  • Support implementation and optimization of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) such as OTM, SAP TM, Track & Trace, and planning integration solutions.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to improve shipment visibility and carrier performance management.
  • Lead logistics transition activities including knowledge transfer, stabilization, hypercare, and process harmonization.
  • Perform FTE estimation, productivity analysis, benchmarking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, fit-gap assessments, UAT activities, and solution validation sessions.
  • Support digital transformation programs involving analytics, automation, AI/ML, and supply chain technology enablement.
  • Develop carrier governance frameworks and recommend actions to improve transportation planning effectiveness and reduce SPOT dependency.
  • Identify logistics cost leakages and recommend corrective actions to drive operational efficiencies and savings.
  • Build strong client relationships and support consulting engagements from assessment through implementation and value realization.
