Your Role

• 5-12 years of experience in Video Engineering, Telecom, Broadband, Multimedia Software Development.
• Strong programming expertise in C++, Java, and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with IPTV, OTT, Broadcast TV, and Video Streaming platforms.
• Good understanding of video codecs:
  • H.264/AVC
  • H.265/HEVC
  • MPEG standards Experience with streaming protocols
  • HLS
  • MPEG-DASH
  • RTP
  • RTSP
  • MPEG-TS
• Strong exposure to Linux-based development environments.
• Knowledge of Video Processing, Encoding, Transcoding, Packaging, and Content Delivery workflows.
• Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies, Microservices Architecture, and Distributed Systems.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Automation Frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, operators, cross-functional teams, and global engineering teams.

Your Profile

• Design, develop, and maintain video processing and content delivery applications.
• Develop solutions for video streaming, encoding, transcoding, packaging, and media distribution.
• Work on IPTV, OTT, Broadcast TV, and Video-on-Demand (VoD) platforms.
• Integrate and support industry-standard streaming protocols and video delivery technologies.
• Troubleshoot customer, integration, and production issues related to video platforms.
• Participate in architecture discussions, software design reviews, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout development, testing, deployment, and support phases.
• Build scalable and reliable software solutions following engineering best practices and coding standards.
• Support software lifecycle activities including debugging, automation, deployment, and maintenance.
• Contribute to Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Video Engineering, Telecom, Broadband, Multimedia, or Streaming Platform development.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Java, or related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with IPTV, OTT, Broadcast TV, or Video Streaming platforms.
• Strong understanding of video codecs including H.264, H.265/HEVC, MPEG, and related technologies.
• Knowledge of streaming protocols such as HLS, MPEG-DASH, RTP, RTSP, and MPEG-TS.
• Experience working in Linux-based development environments.
• Good understanding of content delivery, video processing, media workflows, and streaming architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and software automation.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Experience with cloud-native and microservices-based architectures.
• Exposure to Broadband and Telecom video delivery platforms.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
