Internal Automation COE Leader
Opportunity
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Internal Automation to lead our internal automation initiatives, integrating cutting-edge technologies such as Agentic AI, Generative AI, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This role will be responsible for designing and executing a scalable automation strategy that drives operational efficiency, enhances customer experience, and fosters innovation. This role will report to the overall Hyper-automation Transformation Leader.
This role will streamline and optimize client’s internal business process and functions through automations, bringing in more efficiency and productivity.
There would be a productivity savings / revenue generation component for this leader would be assessed on a quarterly basis.
Our Ideal Candidate
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and lead the internal automation vision, roadmap, and governance framework.
- Bringing in platform-centric automation approach, removing and reducing manual work at a process (L1) and sub-process (L2) level.
- Champion the adoption of Agentic AI and Generative AI to enable autonomous decision-making and intelligent workflows.
Technology & Innovation:
- Evaluate and implement Agentic AI systems capable of proactive task execution and adaptive learning.
- Drive the development and deployment of Generative AI models for content creation, customer interaction, and internal productivity tools.
- Oversee RPA implementation across business units, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including all the internal & existing clients.
- Collaborate with Client/Account leaders to identify automation use-cases and jointly present to client to bring in more business.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of AI engineers, RPA developers, and automation architects.
Performance & Optimization:
- Establish KPIs and ROI metrics for internal automation initiatives.
- Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize internal automation performance.
- Ensure robust change management and user adoption strategies.
Skills /Experience required
- Proven experience in leading enterprise automation programs.
- Deep understanding of Agentic AI systems (e.g., autonomous agents, multi-agent frameworks).
- Experience with Generative AI (e.g., LLMs & prompt engineering).
- Expertise in RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere etc).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with AI governance, ethical AI, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Certifications in AI, RPA, or digital transformation.
- A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred, with a focus on technology management or strategy.
