FTTX Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Nokia NSP/NFM-P Network Engineer with strong expertise in Nokia Service Router Operating System (SR OS), 7750 SR, 7250 IXR, and Nokia Network Services Platform (NSP) / Network Functions Manager for Packet (NFM-P). The ideal candidate will be responsible for network provisioning, fault management, service management, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of large-scale IP/MPLS and Carrier Ethernet networks.

Key Responsibilities

Nokia NSP / NFM-P Operations

• Manage, configure, and support Nokia NSP and NFM-P EMS platforms for service provisioning, inventory management, fault management, and performance monitoring.
• Perform onboarding, discovery, synchronization, and management of Nokia network elements within NSP/NFM-P.
• Configure and maintain network services using centralized management platforms.
• Monitor network health, alarms, events, and KPIs using NSP/NFM-P dashboards and reporting tools.
• Troubleshoot network and service-related issues through EMS and network management applications.

Nokia SR OS Configuration & Management

• Configure, validate, and troubleshoot Nokia SR OS-based routers and switches.
• Perform provisioning and maintenance activities on:
  • Nokia 7750 Service Router (SR)
  • Nokia 7250 Interconnect Router (IXR)
  • Other Nokia IP/MPLS products
• Utilize Classic CLI and MD-CLI for service configuration and operational troubleshooting.
• Maintain router configurations, templates, and operational procedures.

VPN & Carrier Ethernet Services

• Deploy and support Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPN services.
• Configure and troubleshoot:
  • EVPN
  • L3VPN
  • VPLS
  • VPWS
  • Ethernet Services
• Validate end-to-end customer connectivity and service performance.
• Support service turn-up and migration activities.
