Your Role

As a Datacom Automation Test Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and executing automated testing strategies for high-performance networking systems. You’ll work closely with development and QA teams to ensure robust validation of protocols and throughput performance.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and other scripting languages.
• Contribute to the creation of test strategies and detailed test plans.
• Perform functional and performance testing of Datacom systems.
• Validate networking protocols including ISIS, BGP, BFD, MPLS, and Netconf.
• Conduct throughput and performance testing to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve test issues.
• Continuously improve test coverage and automation efficiency.

Your Profile

6–12 years of experience in Datacom testing and automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Python and other scripting languages.
Solid understanding of networking protocols: ISIS, BGP, BFD, MPLS, Netconf.
Experience in designing test strategies and writing test plans.
Familiarity with performance and throughput testing methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to testing challenges.
