Your Role

As a Senior Engineer, you will take ownership of sustaining activities for chassis-based routers and switches. You’ll analyze and resolve defects, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality fixes while mentoring junior engineers.

In this role, you will:

• Handle and drive sustenance activities for switches and routers.
• Analyze and fix assigned defects with complete root cause analysis and proper closure.
• Provide proactive and periodic updates to support teams/customers on bug-fixing activities.
• Ensure quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Stay updated and learn new technologies to enhance solutions.

Your Profile

• Proficiency in C language with strong debugging and bug-fixing skills.
• Experience working on chassis-based routers/switches and networking devices, including:
  • Chassis management, interfaces (Ethernet, T1E1/OC3/OC12), device drivers, i2c, PCI, timing (PTP, SyncE).
• Hands-on experience with Broadcom/Marvell chipsets & SDK, forwarding, L2/L3/MPLS, QoS, CoS, ACL, OAM.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) for stakeholder and customer interactions.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
• Team player with mentoring capabilities and a keen interest in learning new technologies
