Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled DMU Engineer with strong expertise in Automotive Digital Mock‑Up, Vehicle Integration, and Product Development. The role requires deep understanding of PDM/PLM systems, engineering methodologies, and automotive packaging standards. The ideal candidate should be flexible with client interactions and shift timings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Automotive Digital Mock‑Up (DMU) activities for vehicle programs.
  • Execute Vehicle Integration, Architecture, and Packaging studies.
  • Work extensively with PDM/PLM systems and operationally with CATIA V5/V6.
  • Create and define engineering methodologies, standards, and processes.
  • Support Engineering Change Management (ECM) and ensure data consistency.
  • Collaborate across cross‑functional teams during product development phases.
  • Ensure design compatibility, clash analysis, and packaging feasibility using DMU tools.
  • Provide technical documentation and support during client reviews.
  • Adapt to client timing requirements and support global project needs.

Mandatory Skills

  • Proven experience in Automotive Digital Mock-Up (DMU).
  • Strong knowledge of Vehicle Integration / Packaging / Architecture.
  • Expertise in PDM/PLM tools with hands‑on proficiency in CATIA V5/V6.
  • Ability to define engineering processes and methodologies.
  • Good understanding of Engineering Change Management.
  • Exposure to Product Development Processes.
  • Flexibility with timing/shift requirements.
  • Immediate joiners or ≤ 30 days’ notice period.

Preferred / Plan B Skills

  • Strong foundations in PDM/PLM systems beyond basic operation.
  • Additional experience in DMU handling and digital packaging validation.
  • Familiarity with design standards (OEM & industry).
  • Knowledge of SAE regulations and automotive compliance requirements.
