Long Description

Your Role

Your role as a CAE Powertrain Durability Simulation Engineer is responsible for predicting, evaluating, and improving the structural durability and fatigue life of powertrain components and systems using advanced simulation techniques. The role ensures that engines, transmissions, driveline, and associated mounting systems meet performance, reliability, and warranty targets under real‑world operating conditions.

In this role, you will:

• Perform static, dynamic, and fatigue simulations of powertrain components
• Following the best practice methods based on Client Processes and Standards
• Collaborate with vehicle dynamics and test teams to correlate simulation inputs
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) for test or field failures

Your Profile

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Durability simulation
• Experience in Durability simulation for PWT Components and Systems
• Non-Linear Analysis (using Abaqus)
• Fatigue analysis using any solver (femfat, nCode)
• Experience in root cause Analysis and proposing design enablers. Field/ test experience is added advantage.
• Tools experience ANSA with Abaqus
• BE in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering with knowledge of automobile parts
• Good communication skills.
• Strong engineering fundamentals
• Communication skills capable of effectively giving and receiving information in both written and verbal form that is both constructive and informative in directing business activities.
• Knowledge to work in matrix organization.
