Project Manager Telecom

Responsibilities 

• Lead end‑to‑end management of VDS (RUN) projects, including planning, coordination, execution, and closure.
• Oversee fiber‑optic deployment phases and ensure compliance with deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including engineers, technicians, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring seamless project execution.
• Monitor field work, validate technical compliance, and ensure alignment with engineering specifications.
• Track project progress through KPIs, dashboards, and regular reporting to stakeholders.
• Analyze project performance, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvement actions.
• Manage risks by identifying issues early, proposing corrective actions, and ensuring safety compliance on all sites.
• Handle incident management, request follow‑ups, and operational continuity within the RUN environment.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, vendors, management, and customers; lead steering meetings when required.
• Optimize project resources, monitor financial performance, and contribute to process efficiency.

Profile  

• Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Networks, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• Proven experience in telecom project management, ideally in fiber‑optic deployment, VDS, or RUN environments.
• Strong understanding of telecom infrastructures and operator or integrator environments.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of network equipment: routers, switches, OLT, ONT.
• Solid understanding of network protocols: TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF.
• Experience with fiber‑optic technologies: GPON, FTTx.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity applied to network environments.
• Proficiency in French (written and spoken).
