Windows Support Consultant

Your role

  • Solid understanding of Windows 10/11 fundamentals, including user profile management, system settings, and troubleshooting common OS issues.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune or SCCM for basic device management tasks like software deployment and compliance checks.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Ability to support end users via remote tools, resolve hardware/software incidents, and document solutions in a ticketing system.

Your profile

  • Must have an NV1 Clearance.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for Windows 10/11 desktops, laptops, and virtual environments.
  • Manage device policies and compliance using Microsoft Intune or SCCM.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across user endpoints.
  • Assist with Windows 11 upgrade rollouts, including testing and user onboarding.
  • Maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application compatibility and deployment.

Required Skills:

  • Solid understanding of Windows OS fundamentals, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune/SCCM) for device provisioning and patching.
  • Familiarity with VPN, DNS, DHCP, and remote support tools.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support non-technical users.
  • Exposure to ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.
