Job Description

We’re looking for a strategic and detail-driven Release Manager to lead release governance across complex, multi-vendor environments. This role is central to ensuring structured, conflict-free release cycles that align with business priorities and support enterprise transformation. You’ll work across supplier teams, delivery squads, and stakeholder groups to enforce standards, coordinate schedules, and drive continuous improvement. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

 

  • Define and enforce release policies across suppliers and delivery teams
  • Ensure readiness criteria, risk controls, and quality benchmarks are consistently met
  • Lead cross-supplier release planning to avoid conflicts and optimize sequencing
  • Align release schedules with business priorities and transformation goals
  • Review and approve release plans, validating scope, dependencies, and rollback strategies
  • Monitor deployment activities and ensure robust validation and recovery procedures
  • Facilitate post-release reviews and capture lessons learned
  • Drive process maturity and uplift across release management practices
  • Maintain a centralized release calendar for stakeholder transparency
  • Provide timely updates and coordination across technical and business teams

  • 10+ years of engineering and technology leadership experience
  • Proven success in multi-vendor delivery environments
  • Expertise in Agile, SAFe, and PRINCE2 methodologies
  • Strong background in digital transformation, governance, and risk-based planning
