Mulesoft Platform Engineer

Your Role

We are seeking a Senior MuleSoft Platform Engineer to join our team and lead the design, deployment, and optimisation of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role has a strong focus on Runtime Fabric, Kubernetes, and multi-cloud (hyperscaler) environments.

You will be responsible for shaping a secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade integration platform, acting as the technical authority for MuleSoft platform engineering. This includes driving architecture decisions, defining platform standards, and ensuring operational excellence across the integration landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, implementation, and governance of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Design, deploy, and manage Runtime Fabric (RTF) across multi-cloud environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Define and enforce platform standards, security controls, and integration best practices.
• Own and guide cloud infrastructure design, particularly within AWS (VPCs, IAM, EKS, load balancing, etc.).
• Architect and troubleshoot complex networking patterns, including hybrid and cloud-native connectivity.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, promoting platform best practices and capability uplift.
• Oversee platform operations, including monitoring, incident management, optimisation, and continuous improvement.

About You

• Extensive experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform in enterprise-scale environments.
• Proven track record leading the deployment and operation of Runtime Fabric at scale.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container-based platforms.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or other hyperscalers).
• Advanced knowledge of networking across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Preferred Qualifications- Relevant MuleSoft certifications (MCIA, MCPA).
• Relevant AWS/Azure Certifications.
• Relevant Kubernetes Certifications (CKA, CKD).
• Strong understanding of API-led connectivity and integration patterns.
• Experience in large-scale, regulated, or multi-environment enterprise platforms.
