General Description

Role Overview

Respond to order inquiry. Create quotations. Validation, modification and cancellation of orders. Identification of exceptions and providing resolution to issues. Creation of delivery and shipment documents and integration with load building, mode planning and route optimization steps. Process returns.

As a member of the team, participates in meeting service levels, key measurement targets of the team and delivers a high quality and cost effective service. Is proactive in ensuring the delivery of a customer focused service to client.  Proficient knowledge of one or more processes.

General Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Is responsible for processing transactions and producing outputs in the following areas: 

• Order inquiry

• Quote creation

• Validate orders

• Modify/Cancel orders

• Process orders

• Create delivery and shipment documents

• Integrate with load building, mode planning and route optimization

• Process returns

• Archive and Retrieve Documents
