Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support multiple projects and initiatives under the Contact Center Desktop Fleet. As part of this role, the candidate is expected to have strong Scrum Master skills.

The candidate will work closely with all stakeholders to successfully steer project outcomes. They will work with the squad to deliver solutions for several technological initiatives and capabilities aligned across various business units. The candidate will collaborate with core development teams and other support teams, driving efficient planning and execution.

Understanding business demands will enable informed decision-making across all areas of the team. This position offers an interesting mix of business and technical aspects. Strong interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit are essential, along with the ability to deliver clear and effective verbal and written communications.

The team works extensively with other IT members across all MSWM locations. This role demands a strong work ethic and requires extensive hands-on, active participation.

Responsibilities & Required Skills

  • At least 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, along with project management experience and successful delivery within the Financial Services domain
  • Acts as a change agent with a passion for collaborative working to support teams and deliver exceptional outcomes
  • Experience working in Agile teams with a solid understanding of Agile practices
  • Proficiency in facilitating squad Scrum meetings to ensure they are solution-focused
  • Experience helping Agile teams establish and adhere to norms and practices
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to address challenges and remove roadblocks
  • A continuous improvement mindset, dedicated to finding creative ways of working
  • Ability to influence behavior without formal organizational authority
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with a focus on breaking down silos
  • Works directly within a squad to drive performance using Agile values, practices, and processes
  • In partnership with the Product Owner, supports squad work by maintaining the backlog and facilitating Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Monitors team performance through the squad’s metrics dashboard and identifies continuous improvement opportunities to help the team work smarter and more effectively
  • Provides transparency to the Fleet Delivery Lead regarding risks, blockers, and impediments during Scrum of Scrums, and recommends mitigation strategies for effective and efficient operations
  • Conducts squad assessments to ensure Agile principles and best practices are consistently followed
  • Partners with Product Owners to plan quarterly IBRs with a focus on strategic objectives, initiatives, and capabilities aligned to the business roadmap, including prioritization and execution of modernization and hygiene work items
  • Participates in all squad and fleet ceremonies, including Scrum of Scrums, IBR planning, IBR check-ins, and fleet demos
  • Acts as the squad coach by communicating effectively and proactively, providing recommendations to continuously improve squad performance
  • Ensures squad Agile training is completed and squad rosters are maintained
  • Maintains Jira hygiene daily on the Jira board, maintains existing Jira dashboards, and builds new dashboards as required

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 83,000 to 115,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
