Tool Admin Support - Consultant

Job Description

The tools administration support is responsible for the day-to-day management and optimization of the SAP Fieldglass system within the organization. This role involves possessing a broad and detailed level of knowledge of all aspects of the SAP Fieldglass VMS solution, including basic knowledge of interfaces between SAP Fieldglass VMS and GFS, GDH, R2D2, Corporate Directory, SAM-IVALUA, Power BI, SAP S4 Hana, etc.

The position also entails monitoring application performance by tracking, prioritizing and managing support for incidents and performing root cause analysis for recurring issues and suggest corrective actions.

This role is expected to participate in supporting integration efforts with other streams, assist in the development and deployment of customizations and enhancements to the application, participate in global projects related to SAP Fieldglass VMS, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations. Also, coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met.

 

Specifically, you will be required to:

  • Provide all users with quality support and service.
  • Follow-up and handling of users’ requests.
  • Follow-up of anomalies and corrections.
  • Management of incidents and emergencies.
  • Application monitoring and alert management.
  • Training of users on the different applications of the perimeter.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and share it with international teams.
  • Providing analytical consultancy and support to the local administrators on the SAP Fieldglass VMS solution at a global scale.
  • Provide consultancy on regional and local solution requests for minor enhancements to SAP Fieldglass solution.  E.g. creation of new custom fields, changes to existing reports, updating application features.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the current subcontracting process, ensuring that the Support Team adheres to established procedures and best practices.
  • Oversee global access management for the Vendor Management System (VMS), including the administration of access to global reports, coordination of Capgemini reports published to suppliers, and comprehensive access control management.
  • Proactively engage in business meetings to remain informed and aligned with updates and enhancements to the VMS application, including change requests and ongoing project discussions.
