Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Splunk Engineer to join our team and lead the development and optimization of our Splunk infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Splunk infrastructure, including indexers, search heads, and forwarders.
• Develop and manage advanced Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts to provide actionable insights.
• Perform complex data ingestion, parsing, and normalization from various sources into Splunk.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to Splunk performance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Monitor and optimize Splunk performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior Splunk engineers and team members.
• Stay updated with the latest Splunk features and best practices, and apply them to improve our systems.
• Provide training and support to end-users on advanced Splunk functionalities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Outstanding English communication, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Extensive experience as a Splunk Engineer or similar role.
• Deep knowledge of Splunk architecture, configuration, and administration.
• Proficiency in creating complex Splunk queries, dashboards, and reports.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
• Familiarity with IT security concepts and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Splunk certifications (e.g., Splunk Certified Admin, Splunk Certified Architect).
• Experience with other data analytics tools and platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their integration with Splunk.
• Experience in mentoring and leading technical teams.
