Role Description

Focuses on developing team capabilities, achieving financial and operational objectives and successfully delivering on customer commitments. Creates value for customers in the areas of Business Strategy, Information Technology Strategy, Process Redesign, and Change Management. Identifies ways of growing the Professional Services business and proactively identifies new opportunities with current and future customers.
Accountabilities
• Directs the strategic and operational objectives of their organization
• Manages their organization's staffing needs, guides the career development, and drives performance and pay discussions of team members
• Plays a central role in defining the scope of projects, understanding a customer's issues/problems, and conceiving customer deliverables
• Performs in both a people management capacity and a technical leadership capacity
• Performance is typically measured by the capture of the consulting engagement and/or utilization (i.e., billable hours for the department) or performance against budget
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Establishes operational objectives, policies, procedures and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates
Develops, modifies and executes company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect
Advanced understanding of functional areas and a competent understanding of the overall company and competitive environment
Problem solving
Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires conceptual thinking and an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives
Problems are not clearly defined and lack strategic direction
Implement policies and select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Drives the strategy and success of larger projects which contribute to multiple areas of the organization
Discretion & Impact
Erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities
Decisions directly impact medium-term (more than one-year) results of the team/program/group
Experience & Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
Typically requires 12+ years of related experience in a professional role with a bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a master’s degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
Proven leadership experience in consulting or related fields.
In-depth understanding of industry requirements and business environments.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Proficiency in consulting tools, project management tools, and solution design frameworks.
