Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in modern SAP development frameworks, including SAP BTP and SAP CPI. The ideal candidate will design and deliver cloud‑ready, scalable solutions across global SAP landscapes, collaborating closely with functional and technical teams. This role focuses on advanced ABAP, S/4HANA, extensibility, integration, and contemporary development practices rather than classical ABAP programming.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement solutions using S/4HANA ABAP, CDS views, OData services, RAP model, AMDP, and performance‑optimized code.
• Develop cloud extensions and integrations leveraging SAP BTP services and tools.
• Build and maintain integrations using SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).
• Work closely with functional teams to convert business requirements into high‑quality technical solutions.
• Ensure robust integration across modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, HCM, etc.).
• Support all project phases: technical design, development, testing, UAT, cutover, go‑live, and hypercare.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce modern SAP development standards, and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide L2/L3 support with efficient resolution.
• Collaborate with global delivery teams (onshore/offshore) to ensure high‑quality, timely deliverables.

Required Experience

• 6+ years of SAP development experience, with a focus on modern ABAP and cloud‑ready development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with S/4HANA ABAP, including CDS views, OData services, RAP, AMDP, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Fiori/UI5 development or SAP extensibility frameworks.
• Proven experience developing extensions and applications on SAP BTP.
• Solid experience in building integrations using SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).
• Strong understanding of modern integration patterns, APIs, and event‑driven architecture.
• Ability to create high-quality technical specifications and collaborate effectively with functional and BASIS teams.
• Excellent debugging capabilities and experience resolving complex production issues (L2/L3).
• Strong communication, analytical problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to S/4HANA conversion projects and custom code remediation.
• Workflow development and BRF+ experience.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Prior consulting experience or involvement in large‑scale transformation programs.
