SAP SD Consultant

Capgemini is looking for a highly skilled SAP SD Consultant with proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud to join our global SAP practice. In this role, you will help our clients transform their Order-to-Cash processes using SAP best practices, cloud innovation, and Capgemini’s industry-leading methodologies.

You will collaborate with business and technology leaders, drive functional designs, and deliver high-quality SAP solutions that support our clients’ digital transformation journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP SD implementations in S/4HANA Public Cloud environments
• Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops and translate business requirements into optimal cloud-aligned solutions
• Configure and optimize core SD processes including:
  • Order-to-Cash (O2C)
  • Pricing and Conditions
  • Billing and Invoicing
  • Shipping and Logistics Execution
  • Availability Check, Credit Management, and Output Control
• Apply SAP Activate methodology across Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run phases
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (MM, FI, EWM, TM, CRM) to ensure seamless process integration
• Support data migration, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), training, cutover planning, and go-live activities
• Prepare high-quality functional specifications and support development for required extensions
• Provide expert guidance on Public Cloud capabilities, limitations, and extensibility options
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on digital transformation and best practices in cloud ERP

Required Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience is mandatory
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP SD, with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations on S/4HANA Public Cloud
• Strong functional knowledge of Order-to-Cash and SD end-to-end business processes
• Hands-on experience with:
  • SAP Fiori applications
  • Cloud extensibility options (in-app & side-by-side)
  • Integration via SAP standard APIs
  • SAP Best Practices and Fit-to-Standard methodology
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in global, multicultural, and fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP SD or S/4HANA Cloud certification
• Experience with SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC)
• Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite / CPI
• Exposure to Agile or SAFe project delivery frameworks
• Previous experience working in consulting environments or large transformation programs
