Job Overview

The Junior SAP EWM Developer supports the development and maintenance of SAP EWM solutions, working under senior guidance. The role focuses on learning EWM processes and technical frameworks while contributing to development activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support development of custom EWM functionalities using ABAP
  • Assist in implementing:
    • Enhancements (BAdIs, user-exits)
    • Simple reports, forms, and RF screens
  • Debug and analyze standard SAP EWM code with supervision
  • Participate in unit testing and defect fixing
  • Contribute to documentation (technical specs, test scripts)
  • Support integration testing with other SAP modules
  • Assist in incident resolution during testing and hypercare

 

Required Skills

  • 1–3 years experience in SAP ABAP (EWM exposure is a plus)
  • Basic understanding of:
    • SAP logistics processes (MM/SD/WM/EWM)
    • Object-oriented ABAP
  • Familiarity with debugging and basic performance concepts
  • Willingness to learn:
    • RF framework, PPF, EWM process flows
    • S/4HANA fundamentals
  • Strong learning mindset and curiosity
  • Good teamwork and collaboration
  • Structured and detail-oriented approach
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
